ESP 901 Series Bengal - Custom Shop

  • A rare ESP model from the 901 series, crafted in Japan from the finest tone woods, an absolutely professional instrument with top class features, very comfortable and easy to play. However, this series is now long discontinued and has become a real rarity these days.
  • Finish: Transparent Cherry Sunburst with Bengal Tiger custom graphics. With black pickguard and chrome hardware.
  • Body: Ash, one-piece.
  • Neck: Maple of perfect quality. Bolt-on neck construction - this enables a fast, precise attack response, while retaining a full, 'fat' tone. ESP Queen Cut neck joint for super easy access to the upper frets.
  • Scale: 24.75' - like Gibson Les Paul, SG, Explorer etc., i.e. a 2 cm shorter scale than for instance a Stratocaster, resulting in better playability even with thicker string gauges.
  • Fretboard: Rosewood, with offset abalone dot inlays - a very noble looking instrument!
  • Binding: Cream, on the fretboard and headstock.
  • Frets: 24, medium - with a perfect fretjob, another famous feature of ESP instruments.
  • Headstock: ESP Vintage style, matching the body finish.
  • Tuners: Original ESP.
  • Bridge: ESP double-locking tremolo - stays perfectly in tune.
  • Pickups: 1x ESP SH-100 (neck), 1x ESP LH-300 (bridge) - this combination provides a lot of punch, offers an endless range of tonal possibilities and at the same time is very easy to control.
  • Electronics: 1x volume with push-pull tone switch, PU selector, 2x series/parallel switches.

  • Absolutely outstanding quality of selected woods, craftmanship, handling and sound! The overall quality is comparable to Custom Shop instruments made by the famous US guitar companies - which prices usually are in completely different price regions, though.
