The S-Series version of the Teye Electric Gypsy La India offers the classic Teye look with turquoise mosaic and chrome plated hardware. The hand-inlaid stabilized turquoise mosaic is exactly the same as on the A-Series guitars. Also, the new pick-up rings closely follow the A-Series of guitars. The S-Series is a fully hand-made boutique guitar, beautifully adorned, with the infamous full all-passive Teye-electronics. They share the heritage and vision of the more expensive A-Series, along with many components such as the exact same Lollar pickups and electronics panel. Select Mahogany body and neck, Bound Ebony Fingerboard, Mother-of-Pearl inlay, 24 frets, 25.5″ scale, Neck profile between C and D, very comfortable, Double-action truss rod, 2 hand-wound Jason Lollar special Humbucking pickups, The two pickup guitars are equipped with the same control harness as the three-pickup instruments, and are unbelievably versatile. The controls are: 2 Volumes (1 on the T-series) Master Tone control Master Mood control 5-way switch: (down) BRIDGE pickup BRIDGE + coil tapped NECK pickup, BRIDGE + NECK BRIDGE + NECK out-of-phase (´Peter Green´ sound), NECK pickup In combination with the Mood-knob, an incredible palette of sounds is achieved. No other 2-pickup guitar has this much under the hood. And as always: a totally intuitive control panel, and all sounds are musical and you will use them.
